U7 (2017) Pre-Travel Program
The Torpedoes believes in building a strong foundation at an early age. To that end, our U7 program has been specifically designed to teach proper foot-skills and effective ball mastery. A strong focus is placed on 1v1 scenarios to allow players to become comfortable with taking on an opponent. There are no try-outs at the U7 level, we accept all players. By the end of the U7 program, all players will not only be able to dribble and pass, but also be able to perform advanced moves to take on, and win, against opponents.
Program Structure
The U7 program practices in the Fall, Winter and Spring, on the same schedule as our travel teams. Parents can either register for it as a full year program or each season can be registered for separately. Practices with a professional trainer will be held twice a week during each season. The cost for the entire year is $699 (only available until 7/31) and the per season price is $249. Practice t-shirts will be provided and uniforms are not needed.
Fall: The fall season typically starts late August and ends mid-November. Practices will be 75 minutes.
Winter: Winter practices will be held at our new indoor facility in Wyckoff beginning this winter (2024). Each winter practice is one hour in duration.
Spring: In the spring, teams resume a 75 minute, twice-per-week outdoor practice schedule from mid-March to mid-June.
Tournaments: Participation in tournaments is not mandatory for the U7 age group. However, if the trainer(s) and/or coach(es) feel that participation in one or more tournaments throughout the soccer year would aid in the development of the team as a whole, then participation is encouraged.

Spring season begins the week of 3/18/24 and will run through Wednesday 6/12/24.

Girls: Mon & Wed 4pm-5:15pm @ Sicomac School
Winter 2024 Schedule
The winter season begins on Sat 1/6/24 and will run through Wed 3/13/24.
Boys: Sat 8-9am & Mon 4:15-5:15pm @ Torpedoes Indoor
Girls: Mon 4:15-5:15pm & Wed 4:15-5:15pm
